Fishers Renaissance Faire

Fishers, Indiana — The Fishers Renaissance Faire celebrates its 7th anniversary on October 1-2 , 2011, in Fishers, Indiana at an all new site:  SAXONY (134th and Olio Road).

We invite you to partake in the merriment and revelry of the Age of Romance and Chivalry in this year’s themed Festival of Fools.  Our entirely volunteer cast, crew and executive committee work year round to bring to our patrons a fun and educational weekend with both historically accurate and influenced reenactments such as the Queen’s Welcome show and the village Chivalry Quest.

See Fishers’ very own landlocked pirates: The Hey Nonny Nonny Players: Pirates of the Luna Sea who will be performing their all new for 2011 show: fractured fairy tales from the piratical point of view.  Adults (21 and over) will enjoy the all new Goose Island Beer garden and performance space where we will be selling hand-crafted Goose Island Beers sponsored by Terrance A. Smith Distributing as well as a traditional Mead beverage. The faire is also sponsored by the Pepsi Beverages Company, Mike Kalb’s Honey Baked Ham and the Town Of Fishers.

Applaud over 100 performances on our stages and lanes.  200 costumed characters educate and entertain. There are more than 50 artisans selling their wares. Children will enjoy a special children’s realm at the Kids Karnivale, and can be knighted or ennobled by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth or enjoy the tomfoolery of fairies and villagers as the Court Jester is proclaimed the town’s new Mayor plus join in the daily Fool’s Parade and Masquerade Ball.  Don’t forget to attend the twice daily full contact joust with the Knights of Valour, and cheer on skilled warriors and knights as they clash in battle at Champions’ Arena.

Don’t miss the all new Blue Boar Inn performance area where fist fights, brawls and duels break out at a drop of a hat. Enjoy the Queen’s Welcome show as Captains Drake, Hawkins and Frobisher reinvent a Pre-Armada sea battle between English and Spanish ships all at a price cheaper than a movie ticket. You’ll need both days to do everything! You can find the entertainment schedule on the website at and join in on the fun!

The faire is presented by the Sister Cities Association of Fishers, a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization as part of its ongoing commitment to cultural understanding and diversity. The proceeds fuel programs such as an international student/teacher exchange and World Connection Clubs at the local high schools.
