The Indiana Repertory Theatre’s timeless Christmas classic, Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol, opens to a snow-covered stage on Nov. 26, 2011. In this time-honored tradition, Scrooge is taught the true meaning of Christmas by a trio of ghosts who show him his past, present and future. From the story of the three ghosts and Scrooge’s redemption, to the classic lines of “bah humbug” and “God bless us everyone,” IRT’s cast and crew promises a holiday tradition that will delight the human spirit in all of us.

“This time-honored tradition at the IRT is our gift to the city of Indianapolis,” said Janet Allen, IRT’s artistic director. “We know people love this holiday story and we treasure the opportunity to share it with our audiences year after year.”
