Families can show-off their snowman building skills and compete for prizes during the Snowman Building Contest.  Come prepared with plenty of snowman adornments and lots of imagination. It takes place January 21, from 1-2pm, at Kardzhali Park on NIBCO Parkway in downtown Elkhart.  Cost is $5 per family.  Afterwards cozy up by the fire at b on the River for hot chocolate and fresh baked treats.

Anglers “chill-out” at the 8th Annual Elkhart Ice Fishing Derby, February 11, from 8am-2pm, at Ideal Beach Water Park on Heaton Lake.
