305 works of art (a record number ) were submitted to the annual Herron School of Art student show.  The jurors were particularly generous in rejecting a large number of these quality artworks.

Before any of the rejectees had a chance to pick up their submissions, a pool of seven instructors and 37 students were asked to vote on the rejected works of art.  After tallying the votes, we have accepted 42 artworks to be exhibited at Indy Indie Artist Colony, in an exhibit created by Aaron Booe, from January 6through January 27, 2012.   Expect an event just as exciting as the student show with thoughtfully selected artwork, homemade food, and beverages.

Regular gallery hours are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, 12-5 pm, or by appointment. The opening reception for this exhibit is scheduled on First Friday, Jan. 6, 2012, 6-10 pm.
