Workers were putting the finishing touches on the “XLVI” signage at the JW Marriott late into the night on Friday night in downtown Indianapolis. A cooperative Mother Nature provided temperatures around 40, which brought out thousands upon thousands of visitors to Super Bowl Village and the NFL Experience for everything from cornhole and curling to concerts and the Indy Super Cars at opening night of the Super Bowl Celebration. Overheard on Meridian Street: “It was like having the State Fair downtown.”
