The Johnson County Historical Society invites you to attend its annual Wine, Cheese, and All That Jazz fundraiser on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 7:00 to 9:00pm at the Johnson County Museum, 135 North Main Street in Franklin. Sample a range of wines from local wineries, and enjoy a delicious variety of cheeses and hors d’oeuvres, with live music by the Convergence Jazz Ensemble.

Guests can also participate in a silent auction to bid on items from businesses throughout Central Indiana, including tickets to Indianapolis museums, sports and cultural events; a wide range of popular restaurants; and items and gift certificates from area businesses.

Those who attend the event will get a sneak preview of the new permanent exhibit opening later in March entitled “In the Business of Good Health”. The exhibit recalls the small town, locally owned pharmacies around the 1920s, and the important role they played in the health of Johnson County residents.

Advance tickets for Wine, Cheese, and All That Jazz are $25 when purchased at the museum or reserved by phone or email. Tickets without reservations are $30 at the door on the day of the event. This event is for adults 21 and over only. All proceeds benefit the Johnson County Historical Society.
