4-Day St. Patrick’s Day Bash at Claddagh Irish Pubs

This St. Patrick’s Day, guests of Claddagh Irish Pub in Indianapolis need look no further than the three restaurants that celebrate the green, white and gold 365 days a year: the downtown restaurant at 234 South Meridian Street, the 96th Street restaurant at 3835 East 96th Street, and the Plainfield restaurant at 2539 Futura Park Way, Suite 150. As the quintessential place to join friends and family in a sea of green toting enthusiasts, each pub will bring this most festive occasion to new heights with a four-day long celebration filled to the brim with classic Irish  and American music and cuisine as well as dedicated family-friendly activities sure to please everyone at all three locations.

Kicking off the festivities on Claddagh’s Got Talent, a singing competition that will find the hottest vocal talent in the area, culminating in a sing-off battle with the winner being awarded a generous prize (specific details yet to be announced). On the day before the blowout St. Patrick’s Day bash, the pub will be celebrating with a traditional Irish Day, featuring native Irish food and festivities including the following activities at the following locations:

Downtown Indianapolis:

  • Kicking off the festivities on Thursday, March 15 will be Claddagh’s Got Talent, a singing competition that will find the hottest vocal talent in the area, culminating in a sing-off battle with the winner being awarded a generous prize from 8 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
  • The big day has finally arrived on Saturday, March 17 and Claddagh will welcome revelers early for kegs and eggs at 8 a.m. to kick off the festivities which include classic dishes, straight from Ireland, such as Corned Beef & Cabbage Rolls ($6.99), Shamrock Wings ($8.99), Corned Beef and Cabbage ($13.99), Bacon and Cabbage (13.99), Shepherd’s Pie ($13.99), Fish n’ Chips ($13.99), Paddy Mac ($8.99), Hearty Fish Pie ($12.99), and Yuengling Shrimp n’ Fries ($13.99) among other signature items. Other stand-out offerings will include a heated tent, Irish dancers, five musical acts, and more.
  • Sunday is the community day. Claddagh Irish Pubs will be fundraising in collaboration with The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A silent auction will be held, and servers and bartenders working have volunteered to donate all tips to the foundation.  Bloody Mary Bar and Mimosa’s will be available all day.

Plainfield:

  • On Sunday, March 18, Claddagh will be celebrating a family day from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. where the pub will be fundraising in collaboration with St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a charity dedicated to raising funds for childhood cancer research. They will be shaving the heads of people who are collecting pledges in addition to a silent auction.

96th Street/North Side:

  • On St. Patrick’s Day, Saturday, March 17, Claddagh will welcome revelers early at 8 a.m. for Kegs and Eggs for 14 hours of live music playing from noon to 3 a.m.

In addition to green beer, a St. Patrick’s Day must-have, creative cocktails being offered at Claddagh include Hot Whiskey with Irish whiskey, cinnamon lemon and cloves; the Nutty Irishman with Frangelico, Bailey’s and coffee; and the Cobbler with peach schnapps and hot cider, to name a few. Each cocktail is priced affordably at $7.50.
