LEGEND: Asante Children’s Theatre Pays Tribute to MICHAEL JACKSON

It is the mission of the Asante Children’s Theatre to use performance art to develop life skills in youth. BIGGER and even BETTER than before, the Asante Children’s Theatre has assembled a multi-generational cast of singers, dancers and poets to celebrate Michael Jackson’s legacy through spoken word, song and dance.

The power of art is not limited by age. Both young and not-so-young can be equally creative and inspirational. Michael Jackson understood this as an artist and had a profound effect on the world.

Our agenda, beyond perfecting the art is: (1) to emphasize the importance of self-expression and self-determination; (2) to promote unity through artistic expression and (3) to empower young people to make a difference.

We believe this production will artistically commemorate the legacy of Michael Jackson, and lift the spirits of all who witness it.
