The historic Brown County Playhouse, opened in 1949 in Nashville, Indiana, is alive and well. Footloose, the Musical is the perfect mid-summer family oriented theatre production to be presented in the nostalgic playhouse.

This production will be presented by the Smithville Charitable Foundation Summer Youth Theatre, with cooperation from the Brown County Community Foundation, Theatre Brown County, and Brown County High School Drama Department. It will feature some of the best young actors from Brown County, Indian Creek, and Bloomington.

Performance dates for the performance are Fri/Sat, July 13-14, 2012, at 7:30 pm, with a matinee on Sunday, July 15 at 2 pm. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at http://www.BrownCountyPlayhouse.org/, by phone at 812-988-6555, or at the Box Office at 70 South Van Buren.

Come and enjoy a day in beautiful Brown County, then top off the evening with this enjoyable musical.
