The Old National Centre hosts the First Friday Food Truck Festival on Aug. 3, 2012, 5-9 pm, in the parking lot at the centre. The monthly event features prizes, music, games, art, good food, beer, and more.

The August event includes more than 30 of Indy’s best food trucks, plus live performances by Colette, DJ OhBeOne, and Kaskade (Kaskade’s performance is inside the centre in the Murat Egyptian Room and has separate ticket prices). Admission to the Food Truck Festival is $5 (free if you have a ticket to see Kaskade).

The Food Truck Festival draws a large crowd each month, as you can see in the photo above from the June event. Indy’s food trucks offer everything from pizza and po-boys to BBQ and Italian, from Cajun and cupcakes to tacos and tenderloins, from pretzels and popsicles to meatballs and macaroni. It promises to be a cool hang on a hot summer day.

A list of Indy’s food trucks is available on our main Web site at http://aroundindy.com/mobile-food-trucks.php. For more information about the Food Truck Festival, visit http://www.oldnationalcentre.com/, or call 317-231-0000.
