The 39th Indianapolis Greek Festival is scheduled for Sept. 7-8, 2012, at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 3500 West 106th Street, in Carmel, Indiana. Festival hours are Friday, 4-11 p.m. and Saturday, 12-11 p.m.

Once a year, Indianapolis goes to Greece for the weekend. This event includes dance performances by the Holy Trinity Hellenic Dance Troupes, authentic Greek cuisine, live Greek music by Kosta and the Wave, a marketplace, church tours, and more.

Admission is $7 at the gate, with pre-sale tickets available at participating Marsh Supermarkets for $5. The festival will be held rain or shine on the church’s 20-acre campus at 106th and Shelborne.
