Greyhounds Host NCAA Division II Football Playoffs, Nov. 17

The University of Indianapolis football team is headed to the NCAA Division II playoffs for the first time after wrapping up its best season in nearly 60 years with a come-from-behind 31-24 win last Saturday at Urbana.

Coach Bob Bartolomeo‘s Greyhounds (9-2, 8-0 GLVC) also claimed the conference championship in the inaugural season for Great Lakes Valley Conference football.

The Hounds are seeded fourth in the Super Region #4 playoffs and will host fifth-seeded Midwestern State (Texas) at 12 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at Key Stadium, 1400 East Hanna Avenue, Indianapolis. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students, children and seniors, and may be purchased at the gate or in advance here.
