The Asante Children’s Theatre holiday concerts are a celebration of the holiday season and a call to action for attendees to help Hoosier families who need food assistance. The holiday concerts will explore holiday traditions through song, dance and comedy as well as encourage the concept of collective work and responsibility as it draws attention to restocking Gleaners Food Bank.
Under the direction of ACT Artistic Director Deborah Asante and Musical Director Vincent Howard, the holiday concerts will feature the multi-generational Kwanzaa Community Choir and the Voices of Worship of the University of Indianapolis, plus special performances by the ACT Prepsters and others. Offered on four different dates at four different locations, the holiday concerts will engage and entertain all sectors of the Indianapolis community.
