Whether it is four miles, 400 miles or forever in your memory, the Indiana Wind Symphony (IWS) invites the central Indiana community to come Home for the Holidays on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at 7:30 pm, with a concert sure to evoke feelings of good will and cheer. The IWS, under the direction of Charles Conrad, will perform delightful and stirring musical fare with guest vocalist Michael Deane, sure to put you in the holiday mood.
This and all IWS performances take place at the Carmel Palladium at The Center for the Performing Arts, 1 Center Green, where the Indiana Wind Symphony is a resident ensemble. About the Indiana Wind Symphony
The Indiana Wind Symphony is entering its 13th season of performing as Indiana’s premier adult concert band, under the direction of Charles Conrad. The IWS is a 75-piece adult concert band comprised of a mix of professional musicians, music educators and other serious amateur musicians working in a variety of other professions. The group has performed several American premiers of compositions by contemporary composers and showcased the musical talent of native Hoosiers and nationally-renowned musicians. The Indiana Wind Symphony is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization with the mission to present artistic performances of significant music for band and wind ensemble to the Central Indiana community.
