The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ecumenical Community Celebration will take place on Monday, January 21, 2013 at 6:30 p.m. at Lawrence United Methodist Church.

Join us as we remember the Rev. Dr. King with 5th grade essay contest winners writing on “Things Dr. Martin Luther King sacrificed, what did he sacrifice for and what would you sacrifice,” along with uplifting choral groups, an inspiring message by Bishop J. Laveme Tyson, the giving of the MLK Community Award, and light refreshments following the service.

Childcare will be provided.

Lawrence United Methodist Church is located at 5200 North Shadeland Avenue in Indianapolis. For more information, visit http://lawrenceumc.com/, or call 317-549-4312.
