The Jazz Kitchen, 5377 North College Avenue in Indianapolis, will host its inaugural beer dinner as part of a new food series for 2013. The first dinner will be on Thursday, January 24, 2013, at 7 p.m. and will feature North Coast Brewing to complement a unique food offering prepared by Chef and Owner, David Allee. Tickets are $35, including tax and gratuity and can be purchased online at or by phone at (317) 253-4900.

Four course North Coast Brewing Dinner Menu:

Shrimp Etoufee paired with North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner Style Beer

Red Seal marinated Flat Iron Steak with Red Seal Ale

Andouille Mashed Potato and Roasted Root Vegetable Stack with Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale (see image above)

Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout Float + Chocolate Truffles

North Coast Brewing’s John Bisson will lead the educational part of the event to help prepare everyone for the Brewer’s of Indiana Guild’s annual Winterfest beer tasting festival on Saturday, January 26 from 4 to 6 p.m. Tickets for Winterfest are available for purchase at Tomlinson Tap Room, Broad Ripple Brew Pub and Crown Liquor stores.

North Coast Brewing is a proud sponsor of the Indy Jazz Fest and a long time supporter of the Thelonious Monk Institute of Jazz. For every case of Brother Thelonious Belgian Style Abbey Ale sold, North Coast Brewing makes a contribution to the Institute in support of Jazz education. North Coast Brewing Company is based out of Fort Bragg, California.
