‘Concerts on the Canal’ Begins May 23

There’s no better way to spend a summer evening than at Indy’s Thursday night hangout: Concerts on the Canal, kicking off Thursday, May 23, 2013. The 2013 lineup on the Kruse Family Stardust Terrace includes the Indianapolis Jazz Orchestra, Tad Robinson, Everett Greene, Zanna-doo! and Peace Train, among others.
Performances are on the Kruse Family Stardust Terrace at the Eugene and Marilyn Glick Indiana History Center, 450 West Ohio Street, in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana, from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursdays. The Fourth of July Celebration is from 5 to 9:30 p.m.

Food service and a cash bar are available from the Stardust Terrace Cafe and outdoor grill. Guests may bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages to the concerts. All alcohol must be purchased and consumed on site. No pets and no smoking are allowed on the Plaza. Parking is available on a first-come basis.
Free seating is available on the grass. Tables for 8 are $45, $40 for members. Tables of 4 are $35, $30 for members. Single seats at a community table are available for $10, $9 for members.
