Paella and Wine Dinner at the Jazz Kitchen, May 23

The Jazz Kitchen (5377 N. College Ave.) in Indianapolis, Indiana, will host its first paella wine dinner as part of a new food series for 2013. The dinner will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2013, at 7 p.m. The Paella, The Jazz Kitchen’s specialty, will be served buffet style with many accompaniments paired with a variety of wines. Tickets are $50, which includes tax and gratuity and can be purchased online at thejazzkitchen.com or by phone at 317-253-4900.
Four course Paella Wine Dinner Menu:
Welcome Cocktail: JK Red Sangria
First Course: Meat and Cheese Board including Serrano Ham, Chorizo, assorted Spanish Cheeses
Second Course: Peruvian Ceviche made with fresh tilapia white fish, lime, onions, habanero peppers paired with Lapostolle Sauvignon Blanc
Third Course: Paella, a Jazz Kitchen specialty, made with a delicate blend of scallops, mussels, shrimp, tilapia fish, calamari, chicken and andouille sausage in a savory saffron rice paired with Marques de Riscal Proximo Tempranillo
Fourth Course: Carmel Flan served with port wine macerated tropical fruit paired with Payana Malbec
Seating will be available both outside on the patio and on The “B” Side of The Jazz Kitchen. This will be a cocktail party vibe dinner party. Free Live Entertainment on the patio from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Guests are invited to stay after dinner for Noche Latina. Dancing starts at 9 p.m. with a Free Salsa lesson at 9:30 p.m.
