On Saturday, June 1, 2013, the Indiana Pacers will host the Miami Heat in Game 6 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in an 8:30 p.m. start.  The action will begin much sooner outside the Fieldhouse doors with a “Saturday Night Special” party on Pennsylvania Street and a part of Georgia Street.

Activities for all ages are planned for the pregame party which will begin at 5:30 p.m. A Budweiser Beer Garden will be operating in the Ober Lot next to the Fieldhouse.  Alumni Pacers players will be on hand in addition to the Pacemates, Boomer and the Boom Babies!

A children’s area will be stationed on Pennsylvania Street, complete with games, Pop a Shot, Corn Hole, face painting and balloon artists.  A DJ will be on hand to provide music and 1070/107.5 The Fan will broadcast a special Pacers Pre-Game Show from 7 – 8 p.m. A “Beat the Heat” banner will be there for fans to sign for good luck.  All is weather permitting.

The Pub, located across the street from Bankers Life Fieldhouse on Georgia Street, will be open with a special outdoor entertainment center, complete with food and beverages. Please check Pacers.com/playoffs for the latest information on the party and anything Pacers playoffs related.

The Indiana Military Museum in Vincennes, Indiana, will have a Grand Opening ribbon cutting ceremony today, May 31, 2013, at 10 a.m.  Come out and support the museum if you are in the area.

The Indiana Military Museum has one of the most comprehensive collections of military artifacts in the Midwest.  The collection includes indoor and outdoor exhibits of military aircraft, vehicles, artillery, uniforms, insignia, equipment, and related artifacts spanning the Civil War through current military engagements.
