By Bob Burchfield, Editor
Dig-In: A Taste of Indiana, is scheduled for Sunday, Aug. 25, 2013, from 12 to 5 pm, at White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana.
This Farm-to-Fork experience is a one-day festival that highlights more than 35 Indiana chefs, 17 Indiana breweries, over 20 wineries, and food artisans, too. You can sample signature dishes made from local products, and there will be live music, artisans, refreshments, demonstrations, discussion panels, exhibits, four food trucks, vendors, and more.
All guests will receive one sample tasting from each food and beverage vendor. Some of the vendors will offer additional items available for purchase.
General admission is $40; early entry $60 (enter the grounds at 11 am). Kids ages 5-10 are just $10 each, and those under 5 are free. New this year is the VIP Experience for $90 (but unfortunately it is already sold out). This event will be held rain or shine and tickets are not refundable.
White River State Park is located at 801 West Washington Street in Indianapolis. For more information, visit http://digindiana.org/, or call 317-233-2434.
