Bob Gregory’s 27th annual “Coats for Kids” distribution is scheduled for today, 8 AM to 2 PM, at the Indiana State Fairgrounds, 1202 East 38th Street, Indianapolis.

Coats for Kids, in cooperation with WTHR, Salvation Army of Indiana and Tuchman Cleaners, offers a free winter coat to kids who need one. Nearly 9,000 coats were distributed at last year’s event, making it one of the largest charity events in Indiana.

This year’s event will be held in the Agriculture Horticulture Building at the State Fairgrounds. Admission is free, but you must have a child with you to receive a coat.
