Get your child geared up for some science fun at Conner Prairie Interactive History Park’s science-themed Spring Break Camp, offered April 4 and 11, 2014. This is one spring break adventure your children will never forget.

Led by Project Lead the Way teacher Matt Putman, Spring Break Camp is sure to pique your child’s interest in science by offering a variety of hands-on, fun and interactive science experiments and activities, such as:

  • Creating a protective capsule for an “Eggstronaut” to keep it from shattering into a gloppy mess and then experimenting with a redesign if the first attempt isn’t successful
  • Using teamwork in the Golf Ball Challenge to get a ball to successfully zig, zag and roll through a course
  • Testing their balance and skills on the challenge course
  • Making s’mores over a fire
  • Fishing
  • And so much more!

Spring Break Camp is offered from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 4 and 11. The cost is $50 for members and $55 for non-members. For ages 8-12. Registration is required by calling 317-776-6006.

Don’t miss out on Summer Day Camps as well. Along with Adventure Camp, offered June 2 through Aug. 8, Conner Prairie is offering three new specialty camps this year: Space Camp, Archaeology Camp and Art Camp in July. Registration is now open for Spring Break Camp and all Summer Day Camps.
