Actors Theatre of Indiana (ATI), the resident professional theatre company of The Studio Theatre at The Center for the Performing Arts, will present Irving Berlin’s I Love a Piano, sponsored by Ogletree Deakins, April 25 to May 11, 2014, in The Studio Theatre.

Co‐directed and co‐choreographed by Kenny Shepard and Carol Worcel with musical direction by Jeff Bowen, I Love a Piano is a dazzling look at America through the hopeful and romantic eyes of Irving Berlin. Join six of your ATI favorites, Cynthia Collins, Michael Dotson, Don Farrell, Judy Fitzgerald, Bradley Reynolds and Mary Jayne Waddell as they paint unique portraits through historical vignettes that shaped America, from ragtime to the jazz era, through the Depression and World War II, to the optimistic promise of the 1950’s.

Conceived by Ray Roderick and Michael Berkeley, I Love a Piano features much‐loved Berlin standards such as Blue Skies, Puttin’ on the Ritz, Cheek to Cheek, Anything You Can Do, God Bless America and, of course, I Love a Piano.

Performances are scheduled for Thursdays and Fridays at 7:30 pm, Saturdays at 8:00 pm and Sundays at 2:00 pm in The Studio Theatre, 4 Center Green, Carmel, Indiana. On Sunday, May 4 immediately following the 2:00 pm performance, ATI will present the Sunday Talkback Series featuring Chris Lewis and Lisa Lobdell from The Michael Feinstein Great American Songbook Initiative.

Ticket prices for all shows are $40 for adults, $36.25 for seniors and $20 for students 18 and younger, and may be purchased online at http://www.actorstheatreofindiana.org/, or by calling the Box Office at 317-843-3800. Group rates are available through the box office.
