Indianapolis Colts All-Pro Defensive End Robert Mathis and Indiana Pacers All-Star center Roy Hibbert are set to renew their rivalry in the 6th Annual Caroline Symmes Memorial Celebrity Softball Challenge, returning to Victory Field on Thursday, June 26, 2014. Tickets for the event, presented by the Tony Stewart Foundation to benefit the Indiana Children’s Wish Fund, are on sale now.

Mathis and Hibbert will make up their softball squads from a group of celebrities that includes players from both the Colts and Pacers as well as mascots, media personalities and other local sports stars. Gates open at 5 p.m. before the night begins with a Home Run Derby 6-7 p.m., and culminates with the Celebrity Softball Game from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.

The event is in memory of Caroline Symmes, a Wish child who was involved with the inaugural softball event and passed away in December 2009. Proceeds from this event will help Indiana Children’s Wish Fund grant wishes to Indiana children, ages 3-18, who suffer from life-threatening illnesses. Indiana Children’s Wish Fund has granted over 2,000 wishes to Indiana children in the past 27 years, including trips to Disney World, meeting celebrities, shopping trips, home computers and more.

For more information or to purchase tickets, visit the Victory Field Box Office, 501 West Maryland Street, Indianapolis, Indiana, or call 317-269-3545.
