NASHVILLE, Ind., (September 2, 2016) – Brown County’s rolling hills, scenic switchback roads, and smooth riding have long been a draw for motorcyclists.

One of the Midwest’s top destinations for bikers, Brown County provides the perfect atmosphere for two wheel exploring and experiencing the “freedom of the ride” at its best. From peaceful winding roads in the countryside to the quaint Village of Nashville, open roads await in Brown County, a true rider’s retreat.

This September Brown County welcomes all bikers, as the Bean Blossom BikerFest returns for a 14th year, September 6-11, 2016. Presented by Scootermania Productions, Inc., not only is BikerFest a great opportunity to test out the local terrain, it is also six full days of fun motorcycle mania.

Taking place at the historic Bill Monroe Music Park & Campground in Bean Blossom, this festival is far from ordinary. Nationally known as the largest bike event in the Midwest, BikerFest will feature daily live entertainment, a scavenger hunt ride, hilarious field events and Redneck Olympics, a beer garden with full bar, games and contests, on-site camping, and more. The festival will even include an Easyriders judged bike show, along with its famous Hoosier Honey’s Contest.

With plenty of things to do and bikes to admire, no wonder BikerFest has become a favorite among motorcycle patrons everywhere. Kicking off Tuesday, September 6, festivities will continue throughout late Saturday night into Sunday morning. Festival-goers can expect performances by a stellar line-up of musicians to complement ongoing games, such as corn hole, hillbilly golf, and other exciting field events.

Summertime, the Black and White Blues Band, Silverado, The Flying Toasters, Dr. Duke Tumatoe & the Power Trio, Bionic Monks, Eliminator – the original ZZ Top tribute band, and The Farrell Webber Band are all slated to perform.

Additionally, the Ridge Runners Juke Joint will open daily beginning at 10 a.m., providing “music, fun, and friendship” for bikers. Offering a full service bar, games and activities, and daily karaoke, Ridge Runners is the go-to spot for a good time. Each day at Ridge Runners, a DJ also will spin tunes beginning at midnight for the late-night crowd.

Tickets for the Bean Blossom BikerFest range from $30 for Saturday single-day admission to $60 for full festival access. Tickets can be purchased online at ballsbiker.com/tickets.

Only adults 18 and over will be admitted to the festival, which will take place rain or shine. Ticket prices also include primitive tent camping on-site. Additional camping options are available through Bill Monroe Music Park and Campground.

From music and contests to a bike show and scavenger ride, the 14th annual Bean Blossom BikerFest is your ticket to biker bliss. Explore Brown County’s beautiful open roads and experience the largest bike event in the Midwest, September 6-11.
