NASHVILLE, Ind., (September 2, 2016) – Local lagers, regional refreshments, area ales…there will be no shortage of spirits at the 7th annual Hoosier Hops & Harvest Festival on September 10, 2016.

Presented by the Story Inn, this event is a beer-lovers dream come true. Featuring libations from several craft and micro-breweries, Hoosier Hops & Harvest is an all-out attempt to wean the Hoosier palate from tried-and-true factory beers.

Taking place at the historic Story Inn, participating microbreweries will serve up samples of their best stouts, ales, pilsners, porters, and more. The Story Inn’s rural setting provides the perfect atmosphere for guests not only to soak up their suds, but also Brown County’s rustic beauty.

Live music and local food will complement unique regional brews, making Hoosier Hops & Harvest a one-of-a-kind experience unlike any other beer fest around.

Gates will open and the beer will begin to flow at 1 p.m. Two-ounce samples will be doled out by participating breweries until 6 p.m. Beer also will be available for purchase by the glass.

Live music also will be ongoing throughout the event, with performances by the Flatland Harmony Experiment and the Indiana Boys. Flatland Harmony Experiment, a three piece vocally-driven string band from Indianapolis, will take the stage at 1 p.m., dazzling fest-goers with their unique sound.

The Flatland Harmony Experiment will be followed by the Indiana Boys at 3:30 p.m. Kick back and relax to the acoustic instrumentation of these local musicians, who have mastered a blend of both Americana and bluegrass to create an innovative style that is all their own.

Tickets for Hoosier Hops & Harvest are $30 and may be purchased online through September 9 or at the gate. The cost for designated drivers is $10. Only adults 21 and over will be admitted to the festival; no outside food or drinks are allowed.

Great regional beers, live music, local food…what’s not to love! Savor the flavor at the 7th annual Hoosier Hops & Harvest, September 10, and experience a Brown County brew bash like none other.
