NASHVILLE, Ind., (April 4, 2019) – Brown County’s new 2000-seat indoor entertainment venue has been designated with its official name, the Brown County Music Center, and is scheduled to open in late summer.

In the works for nearly two years and under construction for the past eight months, the venue has been moving along as planned in conjunction with branding, marketing, and staffing efforts.

Initially named the Maple Leaf Performing Arts Center, it was decided to officially brand the venue with Brown County’s strong identity as a beloved Indiana destination, as well as clearly denote what guests can expect to experience.

Throughout the facility’s construction, the venue’s board of directors, multiple committees, and new executive director have been busy securing top-notch performers of all genres.

Working with well-known national booking and ticketing agencies, the Brown County Music Center will host several national acts, with regional and local performances mixed in to keep the venue’s schedule chock full of great entertainment!

From rock, blues, and oldies to country, jazz, bluegrass, and even pop, performances at the Brown County Music Center will run the gamut, stretching across all musical styles and will appeal to a wide audience.

While the opening act, as well as others, have not been announced, interested concert-goers can expect to hear names and other details on upcoming performances later this month. Tickets also will go on sale in April.

Determined to provide the highest quality experience possible, once completed, the Brown County Music Center will be a world-class entertainment destination.
