Hoosiers looking for authentic Tex-Mex cuisine will soon find it at Chuy’s Hamilton Town Center in Noblesville, Indiana. The Austin-based restaurant will open the doors to its first central Indiana location on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. The restaurant is located at 14150 Town Center Boulevard.

For more than 30 years, Chuy’s has been known for its commitment to providing made-from-scratch Tex-Mex using only the freshest ingredients. The menu includes hand-rolled tortillas cooked fresh all day on a traditional comal in the dining room and salsa fresca made every hour. It also showcases dishes made from authentic recipes found in South Texas, New Mexico and Mexican border towns. Chuy’s serves up homemade signature sauces, ranging from the mild Tomatillo Sauce to the spicy Hatch Green Chile.

“We are thrilled to open our doors in Noblesville,” said Russell Burns, Chuy’s Hamilton Town Center Owner/Operator. “I’ve lived and worked in this community for several years, and I’m positive people in Hamilton County will appreciate our passion for food and serving the community along with our fun and quirkiness.”

Diners can expect a fun and vibrant atmosphere complete with an Elvis Shrine, the La Chihuahua Bar featuring framed pictures of local dogs, a “school” of hand-carved wooden fish, metal palm trees and a hubcap-covered ceiling.

In addition to Chuy’s famous food and atmosphere, part of their philosophy is to give back to the local community. Chuy’s teamed up with Every Dog Counts Rescue last month to collect dog photos for the restaurant décor and raised more than $500 for the organization. Chuy’s is also partnering with Prevail, a local nonprofit that advocates for victims of crime and abuse, to raise funds and awareness during their pre-opening events.

Chuy’s will be open seven days a week for lunch and dinner: from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday. On weekdays the restaurant will also feature daily drink specials and the Fully-Loaded Nacho Car, an unlimited build-your-own nacho station with chips, salsa, queso, ground sirloin and more, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
