Mallow Run Winery in Bargersville, Indiana, will once again be the setting for an evening of the soulful music of a local favorite, Jennie DeVoe. This will be Jennie’s sixth concert at the winery, and her performance never fails to enchant and energize her devoted audience. The show is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, 2014, at 7 pm.

Jennie and wineries seem to go together well; you can catch her the weekend before on June 7 at the Vintage Indiana Wine Festival held in Military Park in downtown Indianapolis. This festival, which is celebrating its 15th year, is a celebration of food and wine and brings together over 25 Indiana wineries, including Mallow Run.

Indianapolis-based Jennie DeVoe is known not only for her captivating voice and music, but her personality and humor that shine through on stage as well. Her critically-acclaimed fifth CD, Strange Sunshine, was released in 2009 and quickly caught people’s attention, making her a celebrated artist both at home and away. Her work has been described as a “fresh, edgy, raw throwback to the soul records that Otis and Aretha used to make” and “a record for listeners who love good lyrics.”

Concertgoers will be treated to an evening of great music, local food vendors, and the award-winning wines of Mallow Run Winery. Patrons are encouraged to bring blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy a relaxing evening on the lawn with great music and friends.

Mallow Run Winery is located at 6964 West Whiteland Road, Bargersville (two miles east of State Road 37), in Johnson County. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 day of show. Josh Gracin headlines 14th Vintage Indiana; tickets now on sale at Marsh Supermarkets

INDIANAPOLIS – Josh Gracin, the US Marine who became an instant fan-favorite during American Idol season two, will headline the 14th annual Vintage Indiana Wine & Food Festival on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Military Park in Downtown Indianapolis.

Tickets sales began May 1 at all Marsh Supermarkets, and also are available online at www.VintageIndiana.com. Advance sale tickets are $22 for adults age 21 and over (a $3 savings over gate admission). Designated drivers’ tickets are $10; youth tickets for ages 6-20 are $5. Children 5 and under are free.

More than 300 wines from over two dozen Indiana wineries will be available for tasting. Participating wineries also will sell wines by the bottle and case. Other festival attractions include the live music performances featuring Gracin, Cari Ray and Jennie DeVoe; cooking and wine pairing demonstrations; a fantastic variety of food including top area food trucks; an eclectic arts & crafts showcase, and more.

Over 10,000 wine enthusiasts from throughout the Midwest are expected to attend the event billed as “the Biggest Celebration of Indiana Wines.”

Gracin is a Michigan native whose fourth album is scheduled for release this summer. His previous albums – “Josh Gracin,” “We Weren’t Crazy” and “Redemption” – produced the No. 1 hit “Nothin’ to Lose” along with other charting singles including “I Want to Live,” “Stay with Me,” “We Weren’t Crazy,” “Favorite State of Mind,” “Different Kind of Crazy,” and “Long Way to Go.” The latter song was Gracin’s first cross-over hit, showing up on both country and adult contemporary charts.

“Josh Gracin is a terrific talent to headline at Vintage Indiana,” said Jeanette Merritt, Director of Marketing for Indiana Wines. “His music spans a couple of genres, and, along with performances by Cari Ray and Jennie DeVoe, we have a pretty dynamic entertainment line-up set for this year’s event. We’re expecting Gracin Nation to be out en force!”
